Wheeler's House Hunting escapades

We started looking for a bigger house for us and I was told I should document it... so here goes:

Wednesday 10-3
The first house:

Well you definitely could tell it was grandmas house and grandpa was crazy.
Green aluminum siding outside.  Sparkly spackled ceilings inside that were low. Anyone taller than Bryan would be hunched over the entire entry way which was about 20 feet. Green floral patterned carpet in family room and master. Kitchen needed opening up. All of this is workable. Two other bedrooms had nice carpet nice closets and bathroom was amazing.
Then you go out to the two car garage. They added another bathroom (probably so gramps wouldn't have to go far from his crazy hobbies) i really should have videoed this.  Bear with me here. Bathroom on the left. Go a few feet door on your right. Normal folks would think this goes outside. No its a little workshop with wires and switches. Bryan thinks he was into the hamm radios based on what we saw. That little shop was a decent size too. Go back out and continue into garage.  Now on your left is the water heater and something else not sure what. Possibly some water purification thing. And plenty of work bench type space. Back out and keep going in the garage.  You come to the first real part where a car would go. And lots of shelves and counters. Lil blue would fit nicely but not sure any other car would.  Keep in mind house was built in 1968... okay now if you walk thru there was a wall separating the two garages not sure why but you walk thru that doorway and there is the other garage and it looks about the same. Until you get to the end and see stairs going up. Again normal person thinking attic and storage. Nope...they put a room up there... with a ceiling fan. And there was some partition that opened up to the other side of the wall. why they didn't use the entire attic area i don't know.
Okay outside backyard nice and workable! Lets meander down the front to the carport area and more storage.  Here we see more wires and metal things for the radio stuff. Some storage shed and then what looks like should be a second garage.  Nope that is now a guest house ... bathroom kitchen.. cute little studio with its own deck.  We have yet to find the bunker / wine cellar but B is looking. Realtor guy (Eric) and I are looking out at that view (which is nice and tree filled) and i'll be dipped there is another big house ...  apparently grams and gramps had this huge property sold off half to their spawn they built a house and they share the driveway ...
So plenty of space to hide all of my stuff and then some and plenty of space in the house however not sure how it is 2299 sq ft... but not enough space for the kids especially if the driveway is to be shared -he and the dogs would have to be in the backyard only and there is not enough space for our vehicles let alone B's projects....

the second house was right on rattlesnake and they had a pig in the master bedroom (not sure if it was a pet or just being held hostage) .... so we didn't stop
