The blur of September

I can't believe September is mostly over! Where has the time gone?  September has been a good month for us. Bryan was only gone for 4 days, and we got to have a date before he headed off to a fire.  My brother Justin came for a very short but great visit from Oregon.  It's been cooler at night so Cameron, the pups and I have been going for walks and playing outside a bit. Daisy has become Daddy's Little Girl and goes to the garage with him. She is his little shadow.  It appears I've lost my girl and have been given Duke as a replacement.

Here are some of our September photos:

A year in pictures

My friend Dawn got me the best frame for the baby shower - My First Year.  It was fun each month picking a picture to put in the frame, and I'm glad I did keep it up because there is no way I can go back NOW and do this.  Here is the frame, with all pictures from newborn until 12 months....

Sleep alone

Since Cameron's birthday he has slept with his Scout dog which sings and talks to him. (Prior to that he had some sort of music going while falling asleep)
Well Tuesday when he was supposed to be falling asleep I heard a loud thud come from his room. I go in and see Scout on the floor. I pick him up put him back in the crib and leave. Within a minute there is the noise again.  So I go in and ask Cameron if he wants his Scout.  He shakes his head no. I ask if he wants his Winnie the Pooh. Again shakes his head no. I ask if he wants his monkey.  Shakes his head no. So I ask if he wants to sleep alone.

His response: Yeah.

Harrumph.
I should have reminded him of that at 330 when he asked to come to bed with us.
