More August Fun

Bryan is still out fighting fires as of today.  He is now at the Chips fire - his 4th fire on this trip out.  We are hoping he comes home soon!  Despite not having him home, we are all doing rather well and keeping busy so we don't dwell on the fact he isn't around.  www.yubanet.com is the link you can visit which tracks all the fires and gives you updates.

I got tickets to a Rivercats game on Friday (8/24) so I took the parents and Cameron to go enjoy a baseball game. Cameron wasn't too sure about it but he did like flirting with everyone around and running up and down stairs.  It will be a bit before we take him to a Giants game since he just wanted to play around!

That's all for now, until next time!

August fun

Bryan is off to his fourth fire for the season and we are trying to stay busy so we don't notice he is gone. We went to the local fair a few weeks ago and had a good time. This weekend we went to the lake for a birthday ! Cameron had a great time!

August means Fair Time!

This year's fair was definitely different than last year.  For one, it was probably still 95 out when we got there at 530ish on Saturday evening. For two, Cameron was RUNNING everywhere! He had such a blast people watching and eating crap with all of us! He had corn on the cob for dinner, some, of mom's taco salad, his OWN ice cream cone (made for him by Karen, the daycare lady) some bites of a cinnamon roll and tons of water!!!! We did go on a couple of rides, but he preferred to look at all of the animals, which he also got to pet, so that was great!
Here are some pictures from our August, so far!
Corn on the cob!!
Jumbo something ride...Near the end he was going weeeeee!!! It was fun!
Joe Cool with our sun glasses. We need to get real ones like mommy and daddy!

Our very own ice cream, from teacher Karen... He doesn't know how to LICK and he is asking Papa how
He decided to eat the cone instead of licking.. .much easier!

Good to know he is still in awe of the ferris wheel. In 2 years he should be able to ride...
